Aa = a in “father”

Bb = b in “bed”

Ċċ = ch in “chat”

Dd = d in “dog”

Ee = e in “bed”

Ff = f in “fish”

Ġġ = g (Pronounced like a soft “g” sound, similar to the French “j” in “je”)

Gg = g in “go”

Għgħ = Silent letter, affects the pronunciation of surrounding letters

Hh = h in “hat”

Ħħ = h (a strong “” sound)

Ii = i in “bit”

Ie = ye in “yes”

Jj = y in “yes”

Kk = k in “kite”

Ll = l in “lion”
