Aa = a in “father.”

Bb = b in “bed.”

Dd = d in “dog.”

Ee = e in “bed.”

Ff = f in “fish.”

Gg = g in “go.”

Hh = h in “hello.”

Ii = ee in “see.”

Jj = j in “jump.”

Kk = k in “kite.”

Ll – Pronounced like the “l” in “love.”

Mm – Pronounced like the “m” in “mother.”

Nn – Pronounced like the “n” in “nice.”

Oo – Pronounced like the “o” in “go.”

Pp = p in “pen.”

Rr = r (A rolled “r” sound, similar to the Spanish “r.”)

Ss = s in “see.”

Tt = t in “top.”

Uu = oo in “food.”

Ww = w in “water.”

Yy = y in “yes.”

ʼ (Apostrophe) =  a glottal stop, a brief pause in speech.

ʼKH = ‘ch (a guttural sound, like the “ch” in the Scottish “loch.”)

ʼHL = ‘hl (a lateral click sound.)

ʼM = ‘m (a nasalized “m” sound.)

ʼN = ‘n (a nasalized “n” sound.)

ʼNG = ‘ng (a nasalized “ng” sound, like in “sing.”)

ʼNY = ‘ny (a nasalized “ny” sound, similar to “canyon.”)

ʼTS = ‘ts (a dental click sound.)
