Bb = b in “bat.”

Cc = c in “cat” when followed by ‘a,’ ‘o,’ or ‘u.’ 

= k in “kite” when followed by ‘e’ or ‘i.’

Chch = a guttural sound similar to the Scottish ‘loch’ or the ‘ch’ in “Bach.”

Dd = th in “this.”

Dd (after ‘n,’ ‘l,’ or ‘r’) = dd in “added.”

Ee = e in “pen.”

Ff = f in “food.”

F (initially or after ‘l,’ ‘n,’ ‘r,’ or ‘s’) = v in “very.”

Gg = g in “go” when followed by ‘a,’ ‘o,’ or ‘u.’ 

= g in “giant” when followed by ‘e’ or ‘i.’
