What is the difference between East Himalayas languages and West Himalayas languages?

According to Himalayas language theory, East Himalayas languages have fewer consonants. West Himalayas languages will have more consonants, especially multiple consonants. For example, the English phrase “enjoy your meal” in Maori:  = pai to kai. while in Welsh: = mwynhewch eich bwydp. It could be due to the frozen climate regions people tend to close their mouths while speaking whereas people in the warm regions, especially on the islands like to open their mouths when speaking.
